Bday celebration with AJ clique and ASG

Went for dim sum buffet with the AJ clique at excelsior hotel. Turn up late cos was quarreling with my sis. Took a cab down with in turn took longer than the mrt cos of traffic jam!!! But i stilll enjoy the buffet though!siew may who finally made it...Then it was shopping for present at face shop. Cos of the bday discount, i really bought a lot there. Had a really fun day together! JJ suggested going to mindscafe, but in the end...we didn't go...cos we were all not too keen. YT got her hair cut at reds and then we ate dinner together at siam kitchen. I love their minced chicken with basil leaves! Superb i would say.

Whereas ASG celebrated my bday with dinner at waraku. It's been quite sometime since i last ate there..Ok...not counting my dinner with jia min the other day. Thanks for the treat...it was really sumptuous. I really love the private corner... Happen to meet Wing Shan there. My fna newly found friend.

Hehe...After which we went to swensons for my cake cutting. The oreo ice cream cake was nice. Though we were really very very full already. And it seems like the shop was closing really soon. SL almost lost her laptop cos she forgot to take it away after buying the cake and making the arrangements with the swenson crew. Luckily the crew were nice people and they kept it safely for her. Thanks a lot for the presents. I really love them!

Celebrated my bday today with dear donut. Went to get his LG ice cream phone. And then offto takashimaya to get my pretty juicy couture bag. Thanks so much dear... After which we went to suntec to walk around and have dinner. James and lj, lix and yt surprise me at Aston's specialities tonight. I was suspecting James when he started messaging. Almost turn face when he refuse to show me who he is messaging and talk to me about privacy. Hehe...according to him (it's as if after dinner we will only be friend le) lol!! What gave them out was James kept looking out of the restaurant. Thouh i'm really surprised by them!! hehe...thanks a lot dearies.. They brought me very nice looking cupcakes as displayed by the two beauties plus me. And a special white chocolate macadamia nut cake.

slack life after exam!

Alrights...so time has passed so fast that one sem is over YET AGAIN! This time unlike other sems, some friends have graduated. While i am on a brink of hons or graduation depending on results. What would it be...we'll see on the 29th May.

On my last paper, besides the gathering with bi4 classmates. I met lj, lix, yt and huilin (my last paper mate) for lunch at my favourite sakae teppanyaki! After that we went to the illuma shopping mall to shop and chill a little at the coffee bean. It feels so good to have no more papers and readings to worry about!

Me and lin...Now you can relax and sleep more le...Do come out with us more often!Lj who graduated and started working... so glad you got good colleagues and good working environment. Most importantly! Good salary coming in! All the best and jia you ya!And before i leave...of course must take one group photo.. :)And just two days ago, the three of us met up to shop. It was suppose to be a k box outing, but lix fell sick, so it was cancelled. But we had a good time, didn't we? At least the two of them both got something.We look like we both had the same hair style and dressing sia...Before leaving, we had tasty desserts. This the banana chocolate snowy ice.The other one is the macha with oreo and chocolate sauce with macha powder. We didn't know macha could go so well with oreo. This was strongly recommended by the shop owner whose very animated. Thanks for the recommendation!

As for the rest of my slacking days, been spending lunch time with james, reading lots and lots of my chinese novels. And watching tvs. Nowadays i'm hooked onto boys over flowers. :P Beginning to understand y lj and ting are so crazy over it!

For now, i'm looking forward to ASG's chalet starting on FRI!!! hehe...so exciting...we gonna have 三菜一汤... hope that our cooking skills are good enough to not torture our stomach. :)

After alighting at the wrong stop, making some wrong turn and a good 20 mins walk. Alvin and me finally arrive at Ibu's house!! All sweaty!

Ibu's house is so nice. The furnitures and decoration is exactly my dream house!! Very clasic, elegant and beautiful!We were having potluck that night...so different people brought different stuffs. One good thing about potluck...u get VARIETY!Wondering y all act cute? It all started from the pic below!And we started our eating non-stop for the night!All of us from bi3...less Geraldine whose not here yet and Edgar whose taking the photo.And of course how can we forget to take a class photo!

Ever wonder whether the phrase 七年之痒 is true and applies to every man and woman in a relationship? Though i would say it is usually applied to guys.
What is left after the passion and fire had died down? Friend of mine once ask me:" how do you maintain a relationship for almost 5 years now? " My answer is...i dun noe? Guess it's how two people keep the water boiling at room temperature after the passion and 热恋期 is over. It takes effort and fate i would say. Both parties must still carry feelings for the other.

Why do guys say "i need time...i need to think about it....i'm not sure...y can't u understand ME?!" after being with a girl for more than 6 years. So what is the factor that determine whether a relationship would last for only months or for years? When are you ever sure that this one is the right one?
How do you know whether you are going out and do the same things you do on a date because you still love each other or is it just habit?It's really a tough question isn't it.
What's the point of keeping in contact...but let me think about it. Hmmm...hey i'm not sure if i still have feelings for you! And after a girl waits for a month or two...they either loose contact or the guy may have the courage to say:"i've really thought it through...i dun think i love you anymore, so let's break up." If you have much hesitation and second thoughts on your relationship, is it still worth to stay in that relationship?
One last question- how is it that people can pretend that nothing had happened before and continue to talk to a girl and hope that they do the same thing too without resolving the issue?

So really - WHAT'S UP WITH LOVE? there's hardly a standard answer to these question is there?

And that is how we end up with two tickets for the movie just last thurs. Seriously, i am not a shopaholic. I dun buy things when i have no money and in a huge debt. I can only say like many other girls i subscribe to retail theraphy. It is always times like this when you are so bulk down with essay writings, reports, presentation and project etc. etc. that people like me will resort to retail therapy. Who doesn't like to have a new pair of shoes, or new pretty little dress to wear? Guys, admit that you like it too! James always ask how many body, ears and neck do i have? It is true that while i have only one neck, a pair of legs and one body. But it is always good to have a variety of clothings for different mood and occassions right? Recently spend quite a lot of facials. Bought cleansing liquid, bb cream, peeling wash and a mascara from online, with the help of siew may! OMG!!!! MONEY flowing like water out of my bank account. Have to control liao...

So anyways...i'm finally done with my two presentations today. And tml i shall give myself a break before i carry on with all my essays for Japanese Diaspora!!!

女人钱好赚--> this sentence is so true man. From clothing, wearing, make-ups to manicure and pedicure, haircare products etc etc everything requires money! When you feel your getting old, girls starts investing in facial care especially to keep the wrinkles the pimples and whatever from popping up and destroying the day! Got some samples from sm the other day and started digging whatever i have collected in the past and realise...OMG i have so many samples to try!

Amazing right! Alright...i shall start trying them and clearing them.

Been pursuaded by ting to try out my beauty diary mask. So me and my sis bought a few together. So it's gonna be maskful months ahead! Hopefully it really helps my dry skin improve.

More importantly, i gotta start finding eye mask to save my panda eyes. 6 hrs of sleep a day is really not enough!!

Just tried the honey black tea cleansing foam by skin food. Skin feels really soft and smooth after one use. The smell also quite nice.

Etude house has really nice packaging...looking forward to see it's effect.I love beauty credit's foundation, nice smell and very fine texture. Wonder if the rice mask and cream works...

Just finish the last mid term test. Hopefully i wouldn't do too badly for it....Honors is my goal for now!!! Don't think i'm mentally prepared to enter the workforce in this kind of economic downturn. Talenthunt called today --> does this mean i got talent? Didn't find out...too tired to bother to probe further.

Feeling vex now because of this dress i bought online. The thing about clothes imported from taiwan is that reality and picture 9/10 times does not match. This time, the v neck collar was not sewn properly, and it's very obvious. Initially the seller say that the supplier does not regard it as a defect, so won't be able to change for another one for me. So she offered to exchange with her instocks. Turn out the price was not what was written on the blog, so the two dresses i pick after 15% discount was $56.55 . After deducting the $30 i already paid for the original dress, i still had to pay $26.55. But since she offered to let me keep the defected dress, so i'll just take the two lol. Turns out, she wants me to post it back today cos the supplier wants to see it and might do a change. So...i ended up spending so much time to meet up with her at jp for nothing. Having to send back the dress means i bought two dress from her at $28 each. Haiz...so pek cek man!!

Met jm at 7.30 today at cwp for dinner. It's been quite some time since we last went out. Had delifrance set meal which cost $11.90++. The main course was seafood aglio olio, accompanied with soup or salad, a dessert and a cup of coffee or tea. The spaghetti was very short for some reason and this was the first time i had crabmeat with spaghetti. I would say the nicest of all was the chocolate cum coffee cake. Very tasty, not too sweet, not too bitter. Yum!! Thanks for the treat jm! After which, went walking around cwp only to reach home at 10pm. So exhausted now!

Marley and Me

Watched Marley and Me today. Marley is so cute and sweet!! Of course as always, the book is always better, cos the movie has to cut short a lot of things. BUT still i love it. Cried in the end when Marley died. Saw it coming already, but still i was so sad that Marley aged and died. The jokes from James stop the tears from falling down. At least i didn't look like rudolf when i left the theatre. Wish i had a dog. A REAL ONE! But i doubt i have the time for it now. Hopefully - in the near future then... :) Finally, i got my laptop to school to have it reformatted for $16. Foolishly stayed up till almost 4am yest trying to reformat and save the drivers myself. SOMEHOW, it JUST DOESN'T work! so...i had to spend another $16 to cab down to avoid meeting their lunch time. And now i finally have a functionable laptop!
While waiting for it to be reformatted, i printed all my notes in the library. It's a good thing it's holiday!
Had sakae sushi buffet with james, we were super hungry since that was the only meal of the day.
And so it's FREAKING FRIDAY! The term break is almost gone. But i have a lot of test and papers to prepare for!!

Last thing: James bought me this dress at paya lebar as a valentine's gift. I only wore it out for once, handwash it and the brown colour came off and stained parts of the dress!! Feel so like crying!! How could this happen!!!!!AH!!!!! The colour didn't came off while i was washing it. It only came out when i hanged it dry!! Freaking $32 for that. @#$%^&*()!@#$%^&*(!@#^&*(!@#$%^&*@#$%^& haiz....wat to do man!

New year visit to ASG's house.

The first time i join into ASG new year visiting. Haven't been to many people's houses before...so i made some silly joke! And a took a photo at each house. It was quite fun!!First up- Kelvin's houseNext up- janet's house. She has a superly duperly cute dog. Totally disciplined. Name Lex. He would stay still and not touch his treat if he's he's told not to. He noes the "bang" and act dead trick too!!

Just had to take a photo with it!! He is absolutely 贪吃 and he ran about begging for food with one leg up and staring at us with the pitiful eyes while we are indulging in the new year goodies! Too bad--> your a dog, we can't feed you those goodies!!Next up- gloria's house, where she has a really cute baby in the house! An angel when strangers are around. Then it's to hui ling's house for lunch and poker. Oh if you notice- James joined in.Then it's on to pei ying's house. We keep forgetting to take photos tt's why this is taken at the lobby!Then it's chin chuan's house before we head for dinner!A nice chu cao dinner at the coffee shop near chin chuan's house. It was a nice meal. We did create quite some noise while mixing the yusheng!hehe...but who cares.. it's new year!After dinner it is to wen qiang's house. Sorry for the short stay cos last minute i invited them to my house.And yeah...this is my house...the 2nd last stop

Lastly it's Shuet Ling's house.

This is Sl's little hamster...something happen to this poor little's thing leg so it's limping...This is lele. It's very adorable. The same species of dwarf hamster as my poopiey. It's only after seeing it then i realise so hamsters look different too!! And with that it's the end of our new year visit. Hope everyone had a wonderful Chinese new year!:)

Bought james a cute chelsea bear shirt and got him a small polar bear from our favourite hang out. Hope he really like his present. This small bouquet of rose cost a bomb due to valentine's day!!

Went to bugis for dinner and dessert and a little shopping! Worked so hard this week. Dun even have time to blog. Honors year module KILLS! Before i noe it, recess week is coming. OMG!! All the deadlines....AHHHH!!!!

K box session the other day with jj and ting was fun. Though i was ACCUSED of being perpetually late when meeting up (would anyone do me justice?). Ting bribe her way out. But thanks a lot for the MBD chocolate mask. So nice of you!! Wish i could have the tai tai life back soon!!Does this bag look dead? No...it's just sleeping. A super cute and loyal dog.

school started!

Alright, so first day of school ended swiftly. Had a painful 7 straight hours of lecture. But that makes me 3/4 way done for the week.

Some stuffs that i've been doing before school starts.

1. Read as much novels as i can

2. Clean up my room a little as CNY is coming.

3. Worrying for bidding which i almost forgot to bid on sat. But thanks to Yt i still got the modules. All bows to YT!!hehe
4. Playing mahjong with my sis and mum. Now i know how to play tai liao!!
5. Meeting up with the girls before school starts to chat.

Had a great time catching up at starbucks. Dinner at the foodcourt was so so but very ex. Afterwhich we went to timbre. My first pub experience.

The girls had hoegarden and cocktails. And after a while the two of them have ROSEY cheeks. Haha..testing the temperature to see whose hotter!

Lots and lotsa camwhoring. But me and yt couldn't beat lj and lix at it.I like the atmosphere of slacking there...however i only got to hear two songs due to curfew. But nonetheless it was still enjoyable.

What's my new year resolution?

Simply to push up my grades for this semester*tt is if i dun kill myself in the 4000 lvl hy mod...better start printing and reading!! Enjoy life as much as i can before BORING working life comes in. Treasure every single moment i spend with my friends, families and of course donut. Last but not the least --> lots of hong bao this Chinese New Year!!!

3d2n kl trip

Yes i'm back. 3d2n was so short...wished it had been longer. Though it's supposed to be kl trip, we didn't go to much places. Spend the 3 days within the times square shopping mall, a very big mall. Caught yes man during mid night together. The only time we stepped out of the times square was when JJ and SM went in search of cheap foot massage and me and james went chilling at gloria jeans cafe. The rest of the time was spend SHOPPING!!Day 1:Met them at amk and cab down. Following tradition: the one who stays the nearest always the latest!:P Reach there and we were early. So we waited at the small lounge there.All the way till 8 plus then we were told where the bus is. It's a super vip couch. Seats just like the business class on SIA. Movies and games to play. Such good entertainment. So entertained that i didn't even take a photo. After a amost 5 hrs journey we arrived at times square hotel. It was the peak season so we had to wait 1/2 hr for our rooms to be clean and ready. Nvm though cos we got nice complimentary drinks while waiting.After 1/2 hr one room is ready. But not the other yet. So we waited AGAIN at the other room. Took them almost another 45 mins to get the other room keys to our room. Though the service was slow, but at least the room was great. We got the studio suite -Very big room. A small kitchen. Big bathroom - a bath tub and a separate shower. Big bed. Nice sofa with a nice view. Such a contrast to hong kong's hotel. We were staying on the 36th floor so the view was very nice! After we finally settle down. We went in search for FOOD! so distracted along the way cos there's so many shops on sale. Anyway..we finally decided to settle our breakfast, lunch and dinner once and for all at kenny rogers. The chicken was nice, mash potato and macaroni was ok only. The muffins weren't tt fantastic too...The chocolate drink was really very chocolaty. After which it's shopping time! Decided to catch Yes man at 12.30am! My first mid night movie!! It was very funny.

Day2: Breakfast at the hotel. It was filling and nice. The usuals western with a little chinese and mediterranean style of food. ALways love the chicken sausages and the porridge. The curry for the prata was appetizing.JJ being ostrasized...hahaSo happy when qing fu sat with her...lols!

Then it's small mahjong session back in our rooms before we head down to the theme park. SM and Donut was afraid of heights, so it was basically me and jj playing almost the whole time. The four of us had a go at the bumper car. It's been so long since i last played that. It was quite fun!! The roller coaster looked horrifying but it was actually ok. Feel the heartbeat faster but it was so fast and well designed that i didn't get the heart coming out of mouth feeling. The rest of the games were normal. The most memorable two was a ride that was like a very fast merry go round which which tortured me and jj for 10 mins. Just right before the ride started we saw the guy asking the bf to sit on the left. We were wondering why but didn't bother. Within secs we got it. The thing is spinning so fast that the person on the right is literally flung to the left, squashing the person on the left. Unlucky jj was squash by yours truly. But trust me, i tried so hard to pull my self to the right within the 10 mins to relieve her of some of my weight. Gave me muscle ache the next day!! The other one was the 360 degree inverter. It was so scary cos they would stop half way in the air. feels like commiting suicide, and when we were up there, the only thought was that the safety buckle is tight and wouldn't open, if not we are literally dead MEAT!Alright...so much so for the theme park. After which we had lunch at marry browns. The chicken was nice, not very cheap though. Then it was shopping within the mall again. SM, J and me did henna...it's really nice and only for $10 rm.

Shop till night time and our legs really ache. So jj and sm decide to go for foot massage. While me and james went to the near by Bukit Bintang plaza. Got ourselves famous amos cookies and chilled at gloria jeans cafe. Didn't have time to go to klcc and twin tower. This is one of the two towers...so near yet so far.

Dinner was settled back at the hotel with instant noodles, sushi and a chicken soup. I was super hungry!!

We had our dinner in our separate rooms and bathe.Waited so long for jj and sm to bathe and come over to my room untill i fell asleep. It took them 1 hr plus!!We did a mask and i was really very sleepy...jj had a good laugh at me...and then it was off to bed. See 2 days gone with the wind.Day3:Breakfast was shifted to another bronx VI. The times square is so big, it has a conventional hall inside. Some different dishes. Went shopping around for a while and return to the room. Somehow, i guess it's fated that my last day shall be filled with obstacles and torture. I nearly missed my flight in HK, this time in KL, i had problems trying to open my hotel room. We were notified to check out by 12pm. But it was only 11am when we tried to go back to get our luggage. James had to run to and fro to the lobby to change the keys cos they were all not working! I was in an urgent to do big business, jj's room's toilet is faulty. So i went down to use the toilet and f***ing got stuck downstairs cos we need to scan the card before we could press the lift up to the rooms. After all that delay, during which jj and sm got time to take a little nap. We finally checked out and did some last min shopping. Bought shih lin and board the bus. Think murphy was back with jj and so with us...the bus we got was super lousy.Smaller seats, no movie or entertainment of any sort and a driver who was very unfriendly. But thanks to his rushing we got back in singapore by 8pm.

So they had to kiss too... thanks to yours truly skills...not bad hor! It was nice to jump on the bed...hehe...So bored after finishing packing, and waiting for the two mei nus to get ready for breakfast on the last day. Well...all good things must come to an end. So we'll kiss goodbye to this short shopping trip. All in all...i got 6 tops, 2 shoes, 1 wallet, some facial products, a piggy bank, a notebook and nice accessories. And of course nice snacks that i bought home. Most importantly, i really enjoyed the short trip with Siew May, Jia jia and donut. Me and donut cut and dye our hair together today...

Alright...as i was saying. All that's been missing for the past few decades is LOTSA birthdays which means i'm damn broke.

Once again i survived Another torturing exam craze. All the mugging in woodlands lib and starbucks and changi airport with lix, lj and james. Nt forgetting the unproductive mugging day at yt's house. I'm living in a dillusional world not. It's over!! so it's totally out of my mind how i did.

So what've i been bz with? SLACKING. Shopping and of course reading lots of my favourite chinese novels and recently, watching mio tv.

Gotta say i couldn't taste the martini at all though. There was only a slight after taste.Christmas is coming and this is my dream christmas cake. Not the log cake but yes!!the macaroons!! ah!!

Mum bought a samsung hdtv (finally got rid of the 老古董) and an oven and a microwave.

The oven has been good when mum used it to roast char siew and i used it to baked potatoes. But me and my sis attempts at baking eclairs and sponge cake failed terribly. Still need to get to know it better to prevent more failures!!haiz...well...lives about learning from mistakes. So i will jia you de! Hopefully my baking skills could improve by this cny?? Which is coming up real soon.

Haven gotten the time to update jj's bday photos and lotsa photos that i took recently. Will try to update again soon. 2days and counting down to KL trip! till then...hope everyone's enjoying their holidays!!

Lj's 21st bday chalet and Astro outing!

So yest was Lj's chalet. Met donut in the morning to watch butterfly lover...wu zun is super handsome! Most importantly his voice is not dubbed. But i agree with the critique that the storyline wasn't really great. But WATEVER! I LOVE WU ZUN!!hehe..oops...sorry donut! Anyways...after which i was visiting the far east uncle's shop and i got myself 2 bags! Chose lj a little blue dress as a gift on top of the body shop mosturizer. Hope she likes it! And met jj and ej to go over to chalet from orchard. Bad choice man, took like 1 hr for the bus journey, and another near 20 mins walk over to the chalet. Next week, another time again! OMG! Like dejavu.

Aw!! the lovey dovey look....i bet li jie is so happy that mw stayed!!

The chocolate exotic if i'm not wrong, i.e. lj's bday cake was super duperly NICE!! Got a small cup of red wine which was good...as compared to what i was served once in Pasta de Waraku. The good was alright...but i love the dessert 蜜瓜西米露！yum..

Took quite a few nice photos there...with a flattering dress --> makes a happy day. hehe...

Today...me and jj attended astro's outing! After so long, this was the first k box outing that i could make it. Though cos 11 ppl, so couldn't sing many songs.

But we did have some fun la...Manage to finish my bahasa report...so it's time to start on other projects!

1 report, 1 critique, 1 think piece and 1 term essay. Totally screwed. So bz till i have no time to blog. Everything is just adding up and by the time it's over, it's time to study for end term test liao. Life is "wonderful" isn't it?? Blogging now in school! how ironic, no time at home got time in school? Research is taking up a lot of time, but well that's a phase we have to get through! Most important one in fact to churn out some acceptable essay i guess. I need some miracle now man! Think piece leaves me with a lot of questions! Not suppose to have answers anyways...but i wonder whether my confusion will transcript into the essay. Haix...shopping with gals on sat was fun! Finally bought my epilator and i saw some really great watches. N finally i got my non casual watch from cwp on sun!

Who can resist sales?? 20% off... so i bought it...eye on it for so long!TIme to give my fat hamster poopiey some exercise --> good thing to have a hamster ball to run off some fats...it's always looking up at me from the cage with those two pitiful eyes that from my guess meant either of the following 3:

1) come play with me, i'm lonely

2) i want more food, feed me

3) let me out, night stroll needed

Met donut the other day for swensons ice cream...really craving for some icy cold ice cream!

The mudpie was fabulously sinful! thick layer of cookies and cream ice cream and a thick layer of sticky chewy chocolate with a thick chocolate cake base! how more sinful can a mud pie get?! but it was very nice anyways...ex though...cos it added up to $10.15 i think

Just some updates...finally change my phone to f480!(my dream phone) AND it's PINK! hehe...finally i can read chinese smses AGAIN! James ended up getting the same model as mine. Now he has two, one to surf the net the other one for calling purposes. I hope the rebates that the person boast works for him!

Previously i found out the very yummylicious dory riso at pasta mania! It's worth every single cent. Caution! Eat when you are hungry. Cos it has pine nuts in it...i.e those yellow corn like nuts are actually pine nuts, so it can be quite filling.
Ate at jack's place the other day while piaing my essay with dearest jamie at woodlands lib. It was suppose to be laksa chicken chop. DIdn't taste laksa at all. But the sauce was more sweet sambal sauce, so it was still acceptable for me. I miss ikea swedish meatball!
Finally, i got pass the hellish mid term test week...leaves me with totally no mood to touch any readings which i'm suppose to finish, projects that i'm suppose to start with and papers that are slowly moving towards the Deadline. My idea of de-stressing, i think has been equated to shopping!! Went shopping with ting on tues despite having 3 test to study for. 简直无可救药. Anyway, don't forsee myself doing anything very productive at home. So we got down to bugis to buy ej's present. And SHOP! of course...got a pair of shorts. Love it very much. Totally shopaholic. Subsequently i got myself another few tops and dress. TOld myself...i'm gonna stop shopping for a long time. My wardrobe is about to burst. :P can't help it --> i just love to wear new clothes. Admit it, who doesnt? Pamper my face with the faceshop voucher i got along with my hp. alright...so whose been my shopping mates?

Hui ling's 21st bday. She had buffet at her house and she's looking super pretty. Totally like a bride. Her makeover is so nice!hehe...

Changes over the years... Friends for almost 9 years liao since secondary school. Everyone have changed. Cheers to more years of friendship to come. Too bad i dun have any photo of our secondary school time. Such contrast which all seems to be just yesterday. One bad thing about my camera...the flash is either too weak or too strong. Why can't there be a just nice flash?Looking for the magazine cover effect..lol..

Alright...obviously i started writing this post after i finish my exam but i only got to complete it today...i.e. 13th Oct!Before i get to destress enough. busy busy like a bee

Been neglecting my blog for very long...basically it's cos i dun have time to do so. Seriously ask me what i've been busy with, i can't give an answer to that. Sometimes when i have the mood to blog, the blogspot just refuse to cooperate to upload the pics. After 3 tries, i give up.

Just to highlight some things...went to the night safari with ASG. It was quite fun, and we manage to catch the animal show and took the tram rides twice. It was a pity we didn't get to finish the whole zoo due to time constraint.

For your info...that's a python...which was lurking underneath our feet...I simply love the sea otters!!they are just so adorable...

Watched fireworks with ASG too... james came along. The fireworks was nice. Manage to watch it at a good spot. But it was drizzling...and the route back home is filled with congestion of both man and mobil alike. haiz.. Fireworks reminds me of disneyland in hong kong though it's much more fantasy cos of the castle in the foreground...A few of us settled our dinner at Siam Kitchen. Welcome XC back!! We were watching at the area near the flyer...next to the stadium. So here's a pic for memories sake.

Readings are piling up as they used to...tutorials are as stressful as ever. Mid term break is coming and that means so are the term test. AH!!!one word- stress.
Yet, i still lack the motivation to resolve the root of my stress.. haiz.

Me and donuts current favourite hobby -> basketball machine. One can really sweat just by playing this oh. Donut sweats more though...

It's been quite a while since i last had macdonald's meal!Donut tasting my muffins..haha..the face so勉强!

Previously went baking in ting's house twice...first time we baked the butter cookies and used the tigger and pooh cookie cutter. They are super cute. and we made muffins so as to experiment with frosting. The frostings are super sweet!!Muffins baking in process..

heating up the pooh bears...Ooh...Ouch!!??The tiggers are just so hard to make...these are margarine cookies..ting feels it lacks the buttery taste. I love it for it's texture.

The second time included li jie and siew may. We baked fondant and it was nice!! especially when it's hot. Ooh...so yummylicious..See how happy donut is getting to eat my fondant fresh from oven?简直是笑眯了眼！
Next up...the NUS girls steamboat session at my house. This happened when school just started...can you believe it's already week 5!!!!AH!!!Quie a spread for 5 girls huh...Of course we didn't finish it. I love the tofu and the cheesy fish cake the MOST!

After a very filling dinner...We still went out to cwp macs for dessert...lol..Hot fudge sundaes rocks!A little update on good food i found recently. Tried the kumamoto ramen at the new branch of Ajisen in CWP!!!like FinaLLY! It was really yummy..hehe..my new fav.Donut had the bento set...never new Ajisen sells rice other than ramen...take a closer look at the menus.

The macha dessert was something special...with nice mochi and fruits in it...yum.

And i finally got the LV bag of my DESIRE!!hehe..loved it..but it's so heavy..

Field trip last week to boon keng to visit the temples was interesting. Tml morning i have another field trip for singapore military history...sobx...no piano, got early field trip. Got to go sleep now...catch up with almost all of the highlights liao...wat's left i think is pw's bday. A long and random entry i noe...but i guess this sums up to 8 words :-不鸣则以，一鸣惊人。

donut's bday and recent updates

So it's been a long time since i updated..cos i took so long to blog about hong kong. And partly also becos--> i'm lazy.

Donut's bday on the 21st of July. We went to doby to watch movies in the afternoon. We bought the tako yaki from the Japanese fair...so let's follow zhong yi da ge da...ooh...ahhh...yumm...

Tried the mango cum durian ice there. Wasn't really fantastic, cos the mango is still sour. sobs..i miss hong kong's xu liu shan!!

Dinner was settled at conrad hotel. In the room?! of course NOT! We had the durian buffet dinner. Was disappointed cos it was said online that they serve real fresh durian, but i didn't see any the whole night. The durian desserts were a mix of average and below average. i guess the best for me was the grilled prawns (superbly juicy and yummy) the squid and the durian cream cake. Other than that i wouldn't recommend it. I didn't know that there were

gonna be a lot of people, so i didn't make reservations, and we had to sit at the smoking area. Luckily, many were in the same fate as us, so at least i didn't suffer from 2nd hand smoke.
I like this one the best...so cute..

Recently, we went to eat at ma maison. My treat. Well the food was nice, but not exceptionally nice..but the ambience is damn good... the menu is so classythis was nice..cheesy..my favouritethey even have keys for you to use to get ur bill.

James thinks it's not filling at all...while for me it was just nice. Very expensive though...

Hong Kong day 4 ~ 4th of July

Yes...finally and so soon...we've reached the last day of my hong kong trip. I really felt that 4 days is really too short. Well first...talking about last night..of course the night didn't end just with going to disneyland. We went to mongkok for dinner, (aka hong kong bake rice. Thumbs up!)before going to ladies street in search for miss sixty jeans. 皇天不负有心人！终于给我找到了！！Bargain and bargain and i finally got the price of lower than $25 each for 4 pairs of them. I think they are really nice. And believe me, i went to check out the price in the shopping malls..a simple shirt cos $100 SGD!! i'm like OMG!!!

After which, it was a rewarding dessert from 许留山。。。totally HEAVEN! Couldn't decide which to eat cos all of them look so nice and the most important thing is - it's my favourite MANGO DESSERT! James bought a birdnest mango dessert back to the hotel-my treat, to reward him for accompanying me to ladies street after a long day with painful legs.

then it's ASG!!! Yes...they are here in hong kong in the same hotel. hehe...left them a letter in the morning at the lobby for them. Met them at night in their rooms. So nice to meet them in hong kong. Though we didn't get to go out together. Cos they are there only on my 2nd last day. Had a nice photo taking session..small catch up.

Me with dear shuet lingAfter packing our stuffs and checking through, we are ready to check out of our hotels. Time to meet ting and lix to ocean park. Our last destination before going back to singapore.Despite being late...they manage to be later than us cos their bus down hill took very long to come. So we had time for brunch.. A very nice brunch i should say. I really love the hong kong 茶餐厅..very nice. And they have my favourite luncheon meat! Yummy...the 奶茶is also ichiban.

His set comes with nice carrot cake..in the 茶餐厅we are always so spoilt for choice..heheAfter a nice brunch...we bought a tix and finally met the two gals. Here we are at ocean park! It's really very fun. I feel it's much more worth while than disneyland. The rides are more exciting..hehe..though i only have 4 hours there too..As you can see. The SUN is still so SHINY bright!! AKA super HOT day! I've got loads of pic...so i'll try to let the pics do the talk.

There's actually flamingos behind us oh!!Welcome to ocean park.This is really cute..hehe..The roller coaste on on a hill...really SCARY!

We went up the tower and the view is gorgeous..Manage to catch the animal show and trust me...they are superb! The seals and dolphins are so super duperly cute..and the have a storyline behind the how show.Ever seen dolphins swimming hand in hand with human?? Its so nice...and graceful
And that's the end of an exciting show...with the dolphins waving goodbye!

Then it's off to the treacherous mine roller coaster ride...queued for nearly an hourJames wouldn't try...so the silly boy stood under the hot sun waiting for us to take the ride so that he could help us take photos..silly boy...just realise the pics are with yi ting!

But how did i noe the way down is by cable car??It's free anyway...so he had no choiceNotice the seahorse? It's the symbol for ocean park. Y the seahorse out of so many creatures you ask? That's because the ocean park was initially heavily sponsored by the happy valley ie the horse racing company. Hence the seahorse as symbol. However, now it's fully privatised already.

Though i was running late, i insisted on seeing the panda before i leave..this is 佳佳熊猫

Grab a souvenior and it's time to hurry and rush.

The not very lucky us, met with traffic jam. Took a cab back and we were 15 mins late from our pick up time. So sorry to make the whole bus wait for us. But i didn't regret going to ocean park. And we reach the airport in no time..check in our luggage and do some last minute souvenior shopping. SOmehow, we both mistook the latest boarding time for the gate opening time. We ran from the departure hall, took the mtr, ran all the way with lao po bing on james hand to our flight. It was already showing last call when we were waiting for the MTR. I gotta say, i was scared, yet a little voice in me tells me, if i missed the flight, i'll have one more day in hong kong. Alright, i noe there may be penalty fees, but i really wished i had more time in hong kong. The kind of freedom you get, doing what you want, not having to worry about anything, just go wherever you want is really - shiok! In short, i didn't get to shop enough, eat enough dim sum, didn't eat enough desserts!! AND i think my holiday in short is TOO SHORT!!

Well, i really had a great time in Hong Kong though...thanks to the great company i had. THese are all my gains...And not forgetting the superbly great lao po bing nad almond biscuits that i lugged back. Yup...tt's the end of my four days trip to hong kong with donut.

The castle where the princess stays... Ever wished you were a princess and could stay in one such castle?The ride that i wasted 1 hour queueing for!! OMG!! should have gone to other rides...It was a ride that brings you through a pooh bear story. Nice but short. Way too unworthy of my 1hr wait.
You can say this is to make up for not having the chance to take pics with the characters. At least i got a picture with dumbo!lol..

I was so sad that i couldn't find the entrance to meet winnie the pooh! But accidentally found the small world. Which was the new attraction...so here we are. Its a cute water ride...but when you come out...u will get the ear worm--> it's a small world afterall, it's a small world afterall...

Yeah...my first carousel ride in 21 years i think!! One childhood dream come true.And here we are at the TOMORROW LAND!We caught the stitch show and ever since i watched the lilo and stitch 2 on kids central (yes i still do watch that channel) i fell in love with stitch. It's so super duperly cute in the show!! Though it's an alien and the soft toys were never as cute as the cartoon! But it's simply too CUTTEE!!Though i didn't manage to catch the parade..but i stayed for the fireworks..it's really nice. I was happy to be able to watch the fireworks with donut there. Standing on the square, surrounded by the disney music. Feels so great.This is where we bought our souveniors...the lightings looks very nice eh!!A final pic with my favourite..EeyoREE!! Before we have to leave the place as it's time to close for the day! It was kind of sad for me when i didn't get to take pics with any of the characters and not even seeing them. I must go to disneyland again! Disneyland Tokyo sounds good!

Hong Kong day 3 ~ 3rd of July lantau island

Day 3 is scheduled to be Lantau island and Disneyland day!!
Alright...started off with breakfast at a good 茶餐厅near our hotel....Waiting for our order to arrive...let me guess? Either donut's staring into space or his worrying about the ngong ping cable car ride later..The not enough sleep look..lol...Me imitating the pose..lolThis is one set...quite big for breakfast isn't it?And this set belongs to me...nice fried noodle...and they are not stingy with the ingredients for their porridge too!!I especially like this pic...cos the light make it look as if it's some heavenly food.. "want some?"And then it's quickly off to the station..tis is where our hotel is near.on the way to lantau island...see the plane which is flying so low? It's going to land on Hong Kong International airport.And we reach the place to take the ngong ping cable car! I'm super excited...cos that was my first cable car ride in 21 years of my LIFE!This is wat we are going to board..Us in the cable car...There were A LOT OF PEOPLE QUEUEING!!

And off we go...it's a one hour ride!We will be crossed all these mountains.

This is the airport...this whole piece is a reclaimed land oh!This is the runway clear for landing and takeoff!!Look at how steep the cable cars go...the cable car at sentosa is really NOTHING!Saw some doggies at one of the many control station on the hills... Look so relax sia!And finally we are reaching soon...see the tian tan buddha statue!

And we are there..At the Ngong Ping Village..This is the kind of time where people think in their mind:"hmph...but a bunch of steps. Doesn't look that steep!" And usually people will turn out to regret that thought.Can't even rememb when's the last time i walked that much as compared to these few days in hong kong!

And we finally reach the top!We bought the package tickets...so we went to watch the monkey show and the walk with buddha. Clever - me! Donut - doofus (hehe...kidding)

And it's time to move on to disneyland.

Hong Kong day 2 - 2nd July

The start of our exciting half day tour. The tour guide was already waiting for us at the lobby. Board the bus, pick up a few more people and tat's the start of the tour. Only 8 people for the whole tour. Manage to hit the bare minimum for them to give us a complementary half day tour.
The weather was nice....and we headed down to our first stop which is the golden bauhinia square.

After a nice dim sum breakfast...which also happens to be our one and only dim sum meal there we proceed to mid victoria peak. The view is damn gorgeous and fantastic. My tour guide keep saying:" you all are so lucky. Seldom you can see the view so clearly, cos usually there's a lot of fog due to pollution." Guess i have the typhoon which brought rain to clear the fog to thank for that. Bidding farewell to the peak...we drove down hill to repulse bay...passing by jackie chan's house and a few rich people's housing..The beach is super nice...but beware, there are sharks roaming around!!Cross the long life bridge...walk more times, live longer. Hehe...a pity we don't have the energy to walk 99 times..lol 〈福禄寿〉希望能够添福又添寿..hehe
Some silly pose...hehe...that's wat holidays are about!摸摸姻缘石。。。但求好姻缘。虽然不是单身一族，但是也希望现在的感情能够顺顺利利。 Too bad, no pearls in my mouth...lolAs you can see...the sun is real HOT!The very tall guanyin statue. A very funny pose of donut..lol...a different side of James.And we gotta leave the beach already... Next up is Aberdeen fishing village. The 避风塘in hongkong...this is extra $50hkd tips for the boat driver. Me and james and another girl from qingdao board the boat...and to our surprise, the tour guide and the other 5 people didn't do so. The tour guide was at the harbour waving to us, as the boat drive away! Only one expression on our face - shocked O_O"no matter what, i think it's quite worth it la...Wanted to eat at the jumbo seafood restaurant, but decided not to as it's too inaccessible after finding out from the tour guide. Donut's yacht ?! only in my dreams

After that, we went to a jewellery factory and a medicine factory. Had lunch at a very good restaurant in a hotel. And that marks the end of our half day tour. We were the last two to leave the restaurant. The tour guide was so good, that he stayed and wait for us and brought us to grandville road, where he recommends that we can get good quality clothes at good price there. The quality are better than ladies street ones. And yup, we got ourselves some nice clothes there...all thanks to the very nice tour guide. He could jolly well just leave us there to find our way back, but he brought us all the way to the street. And thanks to that tour, i learn more about hong kong's culture and places that i have visited.

Finally we met up with ting and lix...and we had our dinner at macy. It was not bad..i like the soup.
ting's dinner...looks yummy rite??The LADIES on the street...preparing to go to ladies street.And we had a long nice shop... lesson learnt about ladies street:" the aunties are damn fierce, you have to sha jia cos they will chop you to death if you don't. Can't get the price you want? walk away, cos 10 shops down the road they are selling the same things. Wait till one is willing to give up (easiest when they are about to close). But my gains from there in this whole trip, 1 bracelet and 4 miss sixty jeans shorts.

On our way back, we lost our way...oops...hong kong's streets too many corners liao...luckily we still found our way back. Our legs are aching like hell...but luckily our hotel is not that far away. And so that's the end of our day 2! Half of my holiday gone like this...

Hong Kong day 1 ~ 1st of July

Alright, finally it's time to blog about my hong kong trip. For once, i get to fly again, after so long, since my last flight which was almost 3/ 4 yrs ago!!Get as far away from singapore as i could. YEAH!!Thanks to Jame's company driver, we reached airport very early, and it didn't cost us a bomb. Very grateful for that. So with so much time left, after checking in our luggage, we get to tour around changi airport, right early in the morning. Our tixs away from singapore, all the worries and trouble!!hehe...

Smile...because we are going up up and away.CX710 is the flight...

Window seats...hehe...my favourite!After four hours of ride...we reached HONG KONG! this is hong kong international airport. The whole airport is build on reclaim land. Amazing...and when the airplane lands, it is flying so low above the sea...Us in the mtr within the airport..

I gotta say, our free and easy package was well worth. The coordinator is very friendly, and they manage to identify us, while we were looking for the gathering point. Guess wat, we were the first two that came out somemore. After waiting for all to arrive, did a small shopping at the disney shop at the airport in order to get some change to make phone calls to ting and lix! Finally i got through their phone..but they are in zhu hai. didn't make it back to meet me on the first day..sobs..luckily donut came along. If not i'll be left wandering hong kong alone which is one word - scary!on the bus to our hotels...as u can see...clear blue sky = to really sunny day!Finally arriving at our hotels after a few hotels stop over. It's really super duperly small! But i'm so surprise, given such a small room, they could actually squeeze a bathtub in!!

Our first hong kong meal. Curry pork chop rice...literally in words and in form. The curry is like japanese curry...taste was normal.Then it was mtr to Tsim sha tsui to explore around the area... a really old car!!the two explorer...finding routes on their own...and they made it to AVENUE OF STARS! hehe..

The clock tower, which used to be part of a train station. Now this is what's left as a memorial..Took the star ferry across to the central area where all the cbd buildings are..As u can see...it's already evening time! And here we are...today is actually hongkong's national day!On our way crossing the long bridge to the International Finance centre, which has a big shopping mall within it!

Watched the symphony of light from the other end...wrong decision...But it's alright...there'll always be a next time.Back at the avenue of stars...as u can see- a lot of people go there to pat tor...We bought bento from a big supermarket in ifc back to the hotel to eat...cosy dinner..hehe...The bento's quite good oh! A tiring day cos from place to place is quite a walk, but i'm super happy! Especially i got 2 mango tops from ifc..hehe...like it when donut is willing to shop with me and help me choose nice clothes. Tat's all for the first day in hong kong... had quite an early night, cos tml's the half day tour! mood~ excited.

Brought my mum and sis to city hall to esplanade and flyer today! My mum wanted to go there by herself, but after much persuasion, she finally agreed to let me bring her there. Some kind of celebration for her bday which is tml.

I'll definitely come up again when it's done, and i'll come up only at night to catch the night view!Never knew that there's such a big golf course in singapore...Imagine it when it's filled...Really looks very small from up here..It's a pity i haven got a chance to watch ndp at this stage.May be i'll try next year.Things are always changing, day after day, even mins after mins. Met on fri after work to go to Sunset Way, zheng fa to eat. The second time i
went there, since ren hong's bday. Turns out i was the earliest, by forsaking my
camera at home which i forgot to bring. Haiz...but nevermind, there's always a
nice handphone for some pixies.
The dinner was great, true restaurant dinner. We were in the bao xiang, like vip room like that. The sambal kangkong was ichiban, the tie ban tou fu, very nen...the lemon chicken is super crispy, all in all a very good dinner. So glad jia yi came. Quite sometime we never meet up liao wor...too bad that grace and janicia couldn't make it. Hope to see u all at next hathor outing oh!!

After 4 days in HONG KONG...i'm finally back. It was a wonderful holiday, but also a tiring and HOT one. The weather was super sunny. Hiccups here and there, but i still enjoyed most part of it. Just being away from singapore and total freedom is one word- 爽! My hotel is super duperly SMALL...but comfy still. Limited tv channels which all happens to play all the shows i've watched before. Manage to go to ladies st, sogo, grandville st, lantau island, only 4 hours plus in disneyland and a day at ocean park. It was a pity i didn't get to take photos with the disney adventure, but for me, as long as i try to cover all i can, the rest i will go again next time if the chance comes. Thanks donut for not spoiling my enthusiasm no matter how tired or shag u are. The food there overall was great. The dessert by xu liu shan is SUPERB. Missed that the most. Just feel i didnt shop enough...and didn't have enough time for ocean park and disney. And so it's back to singapore, and sad work..haiz. more updates when i've settled the 400 plus pixies that i took in all..hehe

Had a wonderful dinner at hotpot culture... Each person has one small little pot!Somehow, i've created an impression that i'm a BUFFET LOVER! Alrights...i like buffet cos of the variety, not cos i like to stuff myself like a pig k!! The cooked food were really superb. With the student disc, eating it on weekdays is --> worth it and thumbs up man! See the smokey effect? That's coming from the fondue...lol!

hehe...alright...so after the dinner and fondue.They gave me the first clue of the amazing race, I see something fishy, it's half of this and half of that. The first thing that came to mind was merlion, but we were at marina square and it was nine plus already, so i was thinking -->IT COULDN'T BE. So i took quite some time to figure it out and get back to wat i started with. Luckily it was late, so we skipped walking there before they reveal the second clue. Which was esplanade. My first thought is rooftop. These girls had fun seeing my blur look...looking for our destination la! But i enjoyed it la. Once a year only ma..All the girls...too bad jj and hy weren't here! P.s wish u were here!When we finally reach the rooftop after their purposeful delay, i say a few ppl at the corner like eskimos trying to keep themselves warm around fire(actually they were trying to prevent the candle from being blown off by the wind) hehe...i was really surprise by li xin being there! Thanks for everything. There was no table. So lao fan ej le...lol..The cake was PERFECT!! The nice rich durian, still quite frozen and the cake is simply--> ichiban! And it's of course photo taking time! i like the flyer background! hehe..I look like Hammy with the mouth filled with cake...super fat. lol.

And the story goes, when my mum came back from fujian. Adventurous poopiey decided to do a night walk. She had mastered the kunfu of cage climbing so well that she manage to flip her way out of the chimney and find her way out of the town(my room). She was said to be found in a alley(cabinet) in the kitchen St..and so my mum was wondering if there's a rat in the kitchen and realise it was dear poopiey cos it doesn't have a tail. And so, the first adventurous nightwalk of poopiey ended with it being caught and brought back. The look on it's face in my mum's hand look so innocent, as if it was saying :"Hi, i'm back. It's nothing, i just went for a stroll." That was 2 days ago.

Today, i put her in a running ball in the Kitchen st once again. Guess wat, it ran till the running ball door opened and out it came...to explore back to the town(my room). It was lucky that i didn't take long to hear him scratching some thing in my room to find it.

please don't go loose again. Mum is warning me that:" it has gotten out once, and twice, there'll be a third and this time you won't find it back!!ah!!

Monday blues are setting in real soon. HOw sad it is that weekends is over in just a jiffy. With mum all packed and vacinated to go to fujian, so is my hong kong trip coming real soon. Pleasant surprise to find out that ASG whose going to Hong Kong too is arriving on my third day in HK and GueSS WAT!! We are staying in the same hotel!!!hehe...Must meet up!!

Hong Kong Disneyland--> Here i come!

Sat was spend out with the girls shopping...Did lixin's eye shadow. Although, can't really see here. hehe...Had a gd time finding shoes together and we each got our own 收获. Isn't it great. Just in time before my sandals are going to give way. Had Ajisen for lunch!!yummy..the seafood ramen is nice. The pumkin croquette is Sweet...A very filling lunch. Then we got ourselves ice cream from vienna. Finally got myself a cheap cheap 24" luggage for only $17.90. Manage to lug it back from ps to marsiling and lug it back up home. I'm sure all the effort is worth it. But mummy just refuse to take it. Cos she thinks it's too big!haiz.

Met donut today and we had lunch at S11.. the prawn bee hoon wasn't as fantastic as the first time i tried. Gotta say i was a little disappointed. Went to far east and shop and got this beautiful dress which looks a little mature but it was love at first sight at $20 which was a real steal since it's usual price was $49.90..~~<smirk look on face>~~

Watched the incredible hulk at night after mopping the floor and having dinner at home. Quite nice. The action pack kinda movie with a little romance in it. Pasar malam for a little more snacks aka Donut's dinner before heading home. Don't know when i'll be able to meet him next sat liao.

The monday blues is totally setting in. Though it's only been one full week of work! BUT!!I just can't help but to feel tired. sobs... And the thought of having bread for breakfast again makes me wana puke. Wonder what am i gonna have for breakfast!??!?!

If half of my life = to meeting donut-->then that means i'm half dead.
It's been almost a week since we've last met. Missing you dearly! It's as if we
are have long distance relationship. I noe..exagerating a little. SORRY yt,
sorry lj..but we rarely meet only ONCE in a week. This is the first time in 3
yrs? Well...as for work. Been going crazy over the files, finding infos to key
in. But all in all, the working environment was very very nice and amicable. Can
say the nicest i have ever been in, other than DBS. Ley Choon construction and
engineering. A very nice superior who just shared with me freckles cream info
today, cos she just noticed that i have freckles after it's been the 4th day of
work. Haha..which is good though, means its not too obvious. HAHA..but the bad
thing about the cream that she mentioned was that it will make the skin thinner.
So..i'd still rather try shiseido. oh..my dream brand. As i believe, for the
skin care products(those that really works~cost!)

these will be sold cheaper in HK, but i think it's highly unlikely. Finally met
up with the girls on sat at orchard. It's been quite a while since wat, k box?
Which li jie wasn't here. Sadly, couldn't contact huilin, so she didn't join us.
Had a nice lunch at crystal jade, where we had a bad photo taking experience.
Got a manager to help the 4 of us take a photo, but he tried twice and IT'S ALL
BLUR! I can't believe it!! Too bad my camera was on low batt, if not i would
have turn on the high speed taking. Anyways..still manage to make up for it with
our zhi pai using my ever trusty hp camera. Hehe..

Thanks to work, i have to wake up early, but not as early as working in cbd area, but i still manage to get the mypaper every morning. Today they featured hong kong DISNEYLAND. Tempt me so much to go there RIGHT AWAY! so looking forward to it. 3rd time i'm taking a plane!yeah!!cathay pacific is my first time though, hope it's nice and comfy. Earn money first before i can spend it. Watched sex and the city with donut on sunday, it was really nice, enjoyed it much better than the series although donut keep saying it should be rated r21. LOL! I wonder why it wasn't but i'm glad it wasn't, if not..guess they won't allow me in, though technically i'm 21. Looking forward to my bday, not announcing or hinting though. Been really longing to shop...so i pulled my sis out to bugis to shop on monday!!:P ever since work as surveyor ended...the nuaing worms in me are overtaking me. Donut keep saying i'm so nua..cos i can nua whole day at home just reading my novels. Seriously, i don't mind to just keep nuaing on till school starts. BUT facing reality, i need money for hk trip and daily expenses. SO... i took the $6 admin job at this construction company. Starting work tml ~~sucks~~ but...one more day means $48 more. Praying hard and crossing fingers hard that i'm gonna have nice boss and colleagues tml! Alrights...some updates after i end the citibank jobs. Sat was donut's niece bday. So i being the free one have to go in search for present, and wrapped it up. Piano teaching on sat for the first time ended in 45 mins...it usually takes more than 1 hr. Y? simply cos her cousin is here and they are going out, so u just have to keep asking and telling her:"kor kor is waiting liao, you want go out? DOn't play finish mei mei go out and u stay at home liao.." This works for the hell..how i wish her cousin is there every week. ~~wishful thinking~~ it's called a WISH for a reason.

Today is finally the last day of the assignment...no more begging for surveys! Yeah man...really sick of it. Just have to report tml to submit the completed survey and await the money to come to mama!!yeah...well then again. Now i have to worry about tml. Cos.. RESULTS is coming out!!! really really scared. Haiz...pray hard man!! But what's done is done. I just hope it's not that bad. anyways...so what have i been engrossing in other than beggin ppl recently..watching 命中注定我爱你！It's really really very nice and funny...though i dun like the draggy part where the 阮经天 fickle between the two woman. Too bad haven finish yet. So i guess i have to wait liao lol. Siew may la..why tell me so early?haha..kidding..it's very nice. Thanks for the recommendation oh! Entertained me well after a long demoralising day of begging for surveys. Donut dropped a $100 today...so sorry to hear that. haiz...but at least you know there's no point crying over spilt milk. really blew my top today...was happily enjoying movie and arcade with donut at bishan today and sadly got to do the survey job in the afternoon. As i've predicted which i keep crossing my finger...my partner sms me at 2.30 when we are suppose to work at 3 from home that he is very lazy to do the job today. Sat i'm already a little pissed. Sun..i already decided to forget it liao...Made even worst when i see the timesheet which claim 2 hrs of work when he did only 5 surveys at home and i really spend the 2 hrs on the street doing the survey. Tells me his sick of begging people..you think i love begging people? Who isn't sick of it? If you are so egoistical and couldn't put urself down to really do it, y take it up in the first place? Someone else with greater sense of responsibility and enthusiasm to do a good job could be taking that place. I don't understand how you could continue to behave that way when you obviously feel guilty being paid so much but not really doing ur job. Keep complaining that your tired, who isn't? Standing there and procrastinating...only asking when you think there's a higher possibility that the person will answer for you, of course will get you the poor no. of surveys. Shouldn't you feel sorry for not even once doing more than me? What kind of excuse is:" you are a girl ma?" I was keeping quiet and tolerating all the childish attitude simply because we are not friends to begin with. I don't understand y can't he just keep the attitude to himself and put some heart into really getting some surveys done instead of procrastinating and complaining. This is really Challenging my threshold of tolerance to the limit. 2 more days...after which...gth**

wat have i been bz with? Trying to earn money for overseas trip of course. Haiz...been doing this surveyor job at boon lay interchange for 5 days. Everyday free sauna..how shiok huh! manage to come up with a list of Hui Min's 9 Ways to escape a surveyor:

Walk very very fast pass the surveyor. (i really mean very fast)

Show them a very black face like they owe you millions of dollars.

Say NO regardless what the hell they want as long as they are holding a cardboard.

Goes to show how exciting and amazing a surveyor job can be. Tempted to try? I swear this is the last time i'm gonna take such job. I guess a flyer distributer job which i actually wanted to take which has no quota or watsoever is much easier than a surveyor. The frustrations of getting rejected 5 times in a row..when you eagerly got a quota to reach for the day gets so high that !@#$%^&*()!@#$%^&*()@#$%^&* will come to my mind. Very very sick of goin to boon lay...sick of this assignment. Sometimes, i wonder...would it kill for so many to give me just one min of help? I guess many would say yes...since they may not even have a few more mins to spare for their family with such bz lifestyle so y should they spare it to a stranger? 人间冷暖也不过如此。 Anyways...enough about the sad boring things. Yest was our 3rd aniversary!! How fast time flies ya!! Had dim sum at yum cha for brunch and then sakae teppanyaki for dinner. They weren't having any breakfast buffet, so it was quite expensive. Had the 带子粥. It was superb. Though a little ex..but the scallop is really very fresh. And of course we can't miss out the nice big hargow at yum cha. Very delicious. These are the various other dim sum we had..luckily we weren't that hungry. If not i don't know how much the bill will amount to. Ooh...i love the shark fin xiao long bao..not cos of the shark fin. But it's really superb. So juicy. Absolutely heavenly, even better than crystal jade one. The mango pudding dessert was nice..but not fantastic though. This naughty boy keep hitting the gong while waiting for the lift...naughty naughty..hehe...sadly this was blurred. Got such a scare in the lift cos obviously it had reached level one but for some reason..the lift door did not open until after a while. Then for a moment there both of us were like breatheless..hahaWanted to go to orchard lib to borrow books on hk But!!! It's gone!!! I've decided to go on 4d3n trip to hk after checking out the prices with donut at the tour agencies in chinatown. ASG..sorry for not joining you all..but i'm really on a very tight budget. Simply too short a time for me to earn enough for a 6days trip at what you all estimated. Lixin and Yiting!! Must meet me up there k!!Let's plan the itenary soon. Really looking forward to it. SOmething that motivates me for the ~~sucky~~ surveyor job. Went to far east after which before going back to boon lay to work.. Finally got to try the mango lingo. It's very nice...but i regretted adding sago and pomelo. Cos i'm a mango fan..but not really a pomelo lover.

Dinner at sakae was great. I had the seafood set..really very very full. Donut had the chicken set which comes with oyster. I expected a big oyster but not one as big as this. See what i mean.

Told donut not to get this set cos he don't really eat oyster too...but he 不听老人言，吃亏在眼前咯！i would never wana try it. But..if it were jia jia..i'm sure she'll be drooling over it. LoL. ANyways...so that was yesterday. Last fri had this bryani at amk hub. Very ex..but quite nice la. Donut had the roti prata..also ex..but taste normal only loh.

Went job searching at recruit express and kelly services yesterday. Got a very fierce attitude interviewer, who for somehow doesn't like me i guess! Anyway, met yiting and lixin for party world. see ting acting cute...lolEnjoyed myself very much!! Fully utitlised the 4 hours we got haha. My turn to ~~act cute~~ be cute.First time listen to lixin's 天籁之音。Have more confidence in yourself...you sing very well one! Took quite some pics in the party world! I wana enjoy and slack more!!!!! This pic so funny..like i'm gonna eat the mike. LOLs!Happily singing and singing away..heheThe pop corn looks like black pepper pop corn..but it taste kind of sweet and i tot there was coffee taste in it. After our singing i rush over to shokudo to meet hathor for dinner.

Finally had the chance to try it...after craving for it for so long. Marche style but it's much cheaper than Marche. I think it's more worth it.

Learning the appreciate all the little things in life. NOW..finally i got my first vacation job for the sem...surveyor plus data entry for citibank. Hope this is really 塞翁失马嫣知非福。 Still have serious dilema of where to go? Hong kong? Taiwan or Bangkok???i'm really really thinking hard and giving tough consideration. went to study at vivo the other day during labour day; donut accompanied me. Was at mac but was chase out after 1 hour plus. End up sitting outside pet safari there to try and cover some Japan things..haiz.. How sad it is to be studying when others are enjoying their hols. Then on sunday we went to watch Hansel and Gratel.. not really horror for a horror movie. Brought donut to the indonesian restaurant to eat.

The grilled prawn was really very nice. But also a little ex. Not very wu hua.The doubtful look on his face...perhaps thinking--> hui chi de bao ma?!!

I still went for the beef stew soup...yummy yum!! Yeah..the queen of narnia! lol

Freedom at last

This last week has been so horrible...finally!it's over!! Yeah!!time for celebration...but in serious lack of money. Decided to go to hong kong finally with shuet ling, gloria, kelvin yip and wen qiang.. Totally looking forward to it! However, with this last minute decision comes the money issue...haven been saving up for this unexpected trip at all! ~~Shit~~ So...now eagerly looking for jobs loh. Wat to do! Though i'm totally in the slack and do nothing mode. LOL. Had lunch with jiamin on tuesday...She's going to work and travel in Grand Canyon. Interesting eh!! Leaving on monday...really soon! Enjoy yourself and must take care yup! looking forward to meeting you after you come back.

As for the other two pics...that was my celebration dinner with donut for the last paper. Suddenly had craving for zhu cao..but was really disappointed cos other than the sambal kangkong the rest were average only. But we still had our fill!! Spend the night watching the qi tian da sheng for the very first time cos every week i'll be teaching piano at this time. Then today was spend teaching piano and then watching movies at his house. Got really frustrated today and feel kind of like ~~strangling~~ my little cousin...kept running off with different excuses and arguing with me where exactly on the piano is MIDDLE C! Finally see the devil side of kids!? Really headache la...all because her mum is not at home today. So lao hu xia shan, hou zi cheng wang loh!! marah sekali lho!! Alright... my plans coming up:

Really lacking in motivation to study!!haiz...cos it's the last paper. BUt ~~shit~~ it's COLD WAR...how sad it is to end with this paper. Lucky for me! My piano lesson is cancelled. So i can go havoc!!!yeah!!!before that, must work hard for it. A little updates on wats going on in my life...went to k lunch with dar the other day, b4 bethes bday..updates on that later cos got quite some pics.
